EndoMIMYK is a range of next generation haptic endoscopy simulators with state-of-the-art realistic visualizations designed to provide doctors with truly immersive endoscopy training experience. The simulation platform offers accurate tool-tissue interaction to help users get a feel for real interaction that happens with a patient. The platform consists of a robotic patient and an endoscopic controller. The trainee performs endoscopy procedures on this robotic patient using the endoscopic controller, to navigate the scope through the simulated patient. The simulation is rendered onto a screen and responds to the movements the trainee performs using the scope.

The unit consists of a full size, configurable robotic patient that delivers realistic simulation with haptic feedback, adjustable display, touch screen interface and a simulation endoscope with accessory tools for therapeutics.
Configurable Design
The robotic patient includes a configurable head that can be positioned to emulate patient positions for different procedures. Left lateral, Right lateral and Supine positions for Upper GI, Lower GI and Bronchoscopy respectively.
True Haptics
With built in haptics, users can experience realistic feedback that comes from the tool and tissue interaction in the simulation. This brings heightened immersion for the user and accuracy in the experience.

Training Modules
The curriculum design is based on recommendations by Flexible Endoscopy Curriculum provided by the American Board of Surgeons and SAGES. The curriculum consists of over 50 exercises with configurable levels of difficulty that accommodate the novice user as well as challenge an experienced practitioner. Dedicated training modules cover scope handling, basic and advanced examinations, and therapeutics.
